Full Audit Trail and Download Reports
Send-It Confidential offers full download reports,
including details of when a recipient downloaded a message, viewed a
message or downloaded an attachment; IP addresses, DNS records and
computer names. The only exception to this is when you send an “Off the
Record” message. If you send a message and choose to delete the message
from the server and sent items after expiry, then after the message has
expired, all traces of the message will be removed from the recipient’s
Inbox, the Send-It Confidential server and your Send Items folder. After
this happens, download reports will not be available.
Send-It Confidential’s download reports are tamper
proof - the records are stored in an encrypted database on the web
server and cannot be modified by recipients. Email as evidence is
increasingly being attacked in court and Send-It Confidential offers a
far superior evidential record, if required.
